The teacher I interviewed was Mr.Ruiz. He said he loves being able to learn and grow alongside his students!
"Kids at VIDA are as curious and open-minded about new ideas and skills as he is. It gives me so much joy when students are able to demonstrate new learning in an amazing project. He has many different hobbies but at the moment I would say my two favorite hobbies are playing guitar and woodworking. I love to make things, whether it's music or furniture. I also love nature so I enjoy hiking or biking with my family outdoors. The best thing about being a teacher is getting to interact with great students. It's a privilege to have wonderful conversations or shared experiences with students as I lead them through the content he teaches."
